  1. Eva, you’ll think I am a bit odd but my favorite time for roses (especially red) is when they are cradled in a vase and they begin to die – the colors are incredibly deep and rich, a certain Victorian elegance. Beautiful photograph!

    • Thank you Mary! I don’t think it’s odd to like this specific stage of a rose, I believe is absolutely beautiful and that is why I took a shot of it! It is different from a vibrant, red colored, full in bloom rose but never the less beautiful one. Has a different texture, looks really fragile and as you said has a certain Victorian incredible, stunning elegance! For me was irresistible, could not walk away without taking a shot and freeze the beauty up in a frame forever!Happy you like it!
